Our Staff

staffClintonville Academy staff and faculty members are certified and experienced teachers committed to providing only the best in academics. We seek only professionals looking for a long-term relationship with a school that believes in teaching the whole child. Individuals are hired on the basis of professional achievement, course-related skills and enthusiasm. As a result, many staff members have been at the school ten years or longer.

Sally Q. Lindsay

Sally Q. Lindsay

Director

Mrs. Lindsay joined C.A. in 1988 as Director. Her background as a middle school language arts teacher and her administrative experience from her family’s business gave her the balance needed for running the school.

Sally enjoys reading, gardening and working outdoors at her home in the country. Her favorite time is spent with her grandchildren and family. Between goats, chickens, dogs and loving her work at Clintonville Academy, there is seldom a dull moment in the Lindsay family life!

“What I like best about Clintonville Academy is the devotion to student success that all our teachers exhibit. We have a lot of fun while maintaining the highest quality programming in our nurturing environment. Personalizing education and meeting the needs of each child makes C.A. the best choice for learners.”

Rachel Brooks-Pannell

Co-President, CA Parent’s Association

“The Clintonville Academy Parents Association has the unique responsibility of ensuring that the students and the school are taken care of by the parents who participate in the Service Credit Program. While the Service Credit Program provides a reduction in tuition for participating families, it is more about providing day-to-day support for how the school functions. This is a big responsibility, but one I took on because I do believe that our children will value their education more if they see their parents invested in the operations of the school; not simply the paying of their tuition and making sure they get their homework done.”

Jim Humbert

Co-President, CA Parent’s Association

“One of the things I like most about Clintonville Academy is the inclusion of the parents, and often grandparents, in the school. It cannot be overstated how important it is for parents to be involved in their child’s education – Clintonville Academy takes that a step further. Our parents handle the typical school jobs such as organizing fundraisers, monitoring the lunchroom and helping in the office. But we also develop and manage a marketing plan, handle all the landscaping needs, clean and provide maintenance of the building and much, much more. This work not only promotes a sense of ownership for the parents, it provides a good example of work ethic for the children.”
