Affording Private Education

For parents who want to bring out the best in their students Clintonville Academy is invaluable.

Making Private School Affordable

At Clintonville Academy, we believe every child deserves access to a strong academic foundation and a supportive school community – without the burden of unmanageable tuition costs. We’re proud to offer affordable private school options through Ohio’s EdChoice Scholarship Program, our own Service Credit Program, and flexible payment plans.

EdChoice Scholarships

The Ohio EdChoice Scholarship Program offers tuition assistance to all Ohio families, helping make private school more accessible than ever. Clintonville Academy is a proud EdChoice provider, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.

There are two types of scholarships available for K–8 students:

Traditional EdChoice

Students assigned to a designated low-performing public school automatically qualify for the full scholarship amount of $6,166 (2025–2026 award). Nearly 100 public schools in Columbus City Schools fall into this category. Check the list here.

EdChoice Expansion

Now available to all families, regardless of their assigned public school. Awards range from 10% to 100% of the full amount, based on household income and size. Most families only need to verify their income once during their child’s K–8 years.

Note: The scholarship award is applied to tuition only. Families remain responsible for other expenses such as registration, latchkey, and activity fees. The State of Ohio determines eligibility and award amounts. All required documentation must be submitted to the State to secure funding.

Service Credit Program

We know that tuition dollars are hard-earned—and we love when families choose to give back in ways that strengthen our school community.

The Clintonville Academy Service Credit Program rewards parent involvement with meaningful tuition savings. By volunteering your time and talents through school activities and leadership roles, you can earn tuition credits ranging from $250 to $3,000 per family.

Assignments are coordinated by our Parent Association and are a great way to build community, support our mission, and model service for your child.

Tuition & Fees

*Annual Fee covers all basic school supplies, school yearbook, all PE fees, 2 PE uniform shirts and PE bag, field trips (overnight trips excluded), Middle School Camp.
