From Our Director

We like to say around here “C.A. Shines” . . . because it’s true, due in large part to the quality and character of our teachers.

Teachers like – Mrs. Quehl, who’s been here for 34 years. 34 years! Teachers like – Mrs. Johnson, our middle school reading teacher, who’s mother was a teacher here.

Teachers like – Mrs. Kitts, who was first a student here while her mom was the school nurse! Then, her daughter was a student, and now she is our incredible PreK teacher.

I could go on about each and everyone of our faculty and staff, how they support each other, sharpen each other, and are the heartbeat of this community. I’m pleased to introduce each of them below, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about your student’s teacher – especially if you’re considering joining us for the first time.
